Advertising in the Minnesota High School Music Listening Contest
Study Guide is a cost-effective way to target top academic students who
are patrons of the arts. Not only does the Study Guide serve as a
constant companion for student participants throughout the competition,
it also serves as a resource that will be used over and over again.
About the contest The Minnesota High School Music Listening Contest is a 501(c)3
non-profit organization. Since its inauguration in 1987, the contest has
attracted thousands of highly motivated students from across the state
who possess a wide range of abilities and interests, particularly in the
arts. The contest is designed to assist teachers in their efforts to
expand students' musical experiences through the examination of Western
Art Music (global and cultural music traditions) and its ties to other
art forms and politics throughout history.
Each fall, approximately 900 Study Guides are distributed to
Minnesota high school students. For your organization or institution to
be included in the 2010-2011 Study Guide, email a photo-ready (pdf or
jpeg) ad
or mail a copy by July 31st. The cost is:
$1,000- full page ad (7.5"w x 10"h or 10"w x 7.5"h)
$500 - half-page ad (7.5"w x 4.75"h or 3.5"w x 10"h)
$250 - quarter-page ad (3.5"w x 4.75"h or 4.75"w x 3.5"h)
In addition, your organization or institution will receive a link on our
website and will be listed on our Music Listening Contest T-shirts as a
sponsor.
