You have heard of the "Mozart Effect," now see it in action! The Music Listening Contest is more than just memorizing composers and their music, it is about enriching the active mind! Students who participate in the Music Listening Contest are the Best and the Brightest in the State of Minnesota.

The contest promotes active learning strategies, requiring students to exercise those transferable problem-solving and analytical skills sought after by employers. Help keep our Minnesota students #1 in the global job market!

This is an organization primarily run by volunteers working on the contest as judges, managers, team coaches, and board members. Many of the teams are not school-funded but are entirely funded by students.
