State Contest Information
Augsburg College in Minneapolis on Friday, February 3, 2012
All first- and second-place winners (each from different schools) from the 9 Regions will participate. For a list of teams, click here.
11:30 a.m. - noon
Registration and Luncheon is on the second floor of the Christensen Center – College Center (722 - 22nd Avenue South, Mpls, 55454; Building #1 on map)
Noon - 12:30 p.m. Luncheon at Christensen Center
12:30 p.m. - 12:45 p.m. Move from Christensen Center to Hoversten Chapel in the Foss Center (22nd Avenue South & Riverside Avenue; Building #9 on map)
1 p.m Guest Speaker Jocelyn Hagen
1:30 - 3:30 p.m. State Contest (Hoversten Chapel, Foss Center)
3:30 p.m. - 4 p.m. College Bowl Round and Awards Ceremony (Hoversten Chapel, Foss Center)
(NOTE: These are the approximate times of events.)
The format for the State Contest is the same as the Regional Contest, but with different questions.
The top two teams that emerge from the first five rounds will then participate in an exciting College-Bowl round to determine the final winner of the State Contest.
