2010-11 Contest Information

Last year, nearly 200 teams competed in the Minnesota High School Music Listening Contest.  We're hoping for even more participating schools and teams in the new school year.  If you are looking for a way to get your students involved in a meaningful, fun and competitive music history and listening activity, this is it! The contest is open to all Minnesota high school students, 9-12th grade, from public, private, home schools, or music studios.

2010-2011 Dates and Deadlines:

*The regional contests are held at a minimum of 10 different sites. The registration fee is $90 per team (3 student guides with 1 coach's guide per school). Study Guides are about 100 pages and each contains three repertoire CDs with narration. They will be mailed immediately to registered and paid teams.

Coaches - please mention the contest to your friends and colleagues. We want to make this the biggest and best contest yet!

You can register via mail (check payment) or online (credit card or PayPal payment) beginning in August 2010.
